Woman who ‘cut baby from friend’s womb told police she gave birth on road’

A woman accused of cutting a baby out of her friend’s womb allegedly told police she gave birth to the child on the side of the road.

Reagan Hancock, 21, was found dead at her home in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas, after her so-called friend cut open her womb.

Taylor Parker, 27, is now reportedly facing murder and kidnapping charges after allegedly snatching Mrs Hancock’s unborn daughter, who later died.

On Friday, she told a Texas State Trooper she had given birth to the baby on the side of the road after the officer stopped her as she tried to cross into Oklahoma, reports say.

Parker was then rushed to Oklahoma’s McCurtain Memorial Hospital, although doctors were unable to revive the baby.

Medics soon discovered that Parker was not the mother of the child and she was arrested by police .

A Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesman said: “On Friday, October 9, Oklahoma law enforcement was notified that Taylor Parker, of Simms, Texas, had arrived at McCurtain Memorial Hospital that morning with a baby she said she had just given birth to on the side of the road.

“OSBI Agents and Idabel Detectives went to the hospital and learned that Parker had been stopped by a Texas Trooper in DeKalb, Texas. She told the Trooper she just had the baby and the baby wasn’t breathing.

“At that point, she and the baby were transported by ambulance to the hospital in McCurtain County, Okla. The baby was pronounced deceased at the hospital.”

She waived her right to oppose extradition to Texas in a court hearing yesterday.

Mrs Hancock’s mum said her daughter had been “murdered by Satan in the flesh” after she discovered her daughter’s body in her home in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas in the US.

The victim married her husband Homer in 2019 and the couple had a three-year-old daughter together, Mail Online reports.

She was expecting another daughter, who she wanted to name Braxlynn Sage, on November 10.
